I know we don't want the Lions offense on the field for a lot of the game, but we have to take shots downfield against that porous secondary of theirs. I'm fine with getting a little conservative early and controlling the clock and scoring points, but if we get a good lead, say anywhere from 7-14 points, we need to put the game away and make sure they can't come back on us. Well yeah, run, run, play-action pass. Thing is we have to complete those passes. Had we done that this week we'd probably be looking at 3-0. But since we didn't there's the perception that we didn't even try.
