Another Career Change

Well I have officially resigned with the Knoxville Police Department. It was one hell of a ride for the past two years and I got to do some awesome stuff, but in the end I had to do what was right for my family. The hours sucked, I hardly ever saw my wife and daughter, and the pay/benefits were atrocious.

I got offered my old position at my old job (Web designer, the E.W. Scripps company) to the tune of a 40% raise over my police salary, full benefits, a flexible schedule and normal hours. I also got a sweet MacBook Pro 15" to take home and a 23" Cinema Display in my office. The real advantage is I'm home every night to see my little girl and my wife and I actually get to talk and go out once on a while.

The real point of all of this is that I'm back in front of a computer 10 hours a day, which means nonstop Warpath-ing!
