Gibbs has to change Brunell at QB. I know he has a lot of faith in him, but there is no harm in changing things to see if we can jump start things.. There are a lot of problems on offense.. the running game is not exsistent.. our O-line can get no push AT ALL. The defenses are putting 8-9 people in the box, and when that happens it is always going to be difficult to run. Also as the commentators pointed out, Portis is more of a edge runner whereas Gibbs system requires more of a powerback like Davis or Duce to run between the tackles and get the hard 2-3 yards. Portis is not built like that to do the job.
We need to get our passing game together though. That is the only way we can take some pressure of our running game. Right now nobody respects our passing game - our QB, or our recievers. N will somebody please tell the coaching staff that u can't expect ur top WR to take hits like that without getting any chance to make something happen.. WHAT WAS BRUNELL THINKING ON THAT THROW?? that was one of the worst displays of QB'ing i have seen in a while.
I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED!!! But I know this team under Gibbs will turn it around.. HE WILL TURN IT AROUND!!
