The team is at least a couple of years away from a SB appearance. Until the defense can apply consistent and effective pressure on opposing quarterbacks they do not have much of a chance (for reference, see game film of Trent Edwards carving up the secondary). In addition, better play from Campbell in clutch situations is a must for a SB caliber team.

I see no reason why this group, no matter who coaches it next year, cannot return to the playoffs, perhaps even have a good enough record to host a game!
