I wonder if Snyder understands that there is a level of humanity that exists within the world of sports, in the locker room and on the field, and that it needs to be recognized for the sake of "chemistry." The way he goes about doing things, mistreating players and coaches, throwing continuity out the window, dismissing the wishes of his players, buying expensive players as though they are nothing more than pieces on a chessboard, it all leads me to believe that he sees his football team like he sees a business, and that the players and the coaches are nothing more than lifeless commodities, assets that can be viewed through calculation and market measurement, and nothing else. For many of his years as owner the team has underachieved, many times drastically; I don't mean that they haven't been good, I mean they did not perform to the expectations of just about everyone. They underachieve. Why? Perhaps they don't have the will to win, and why should they? They've never been assembled as a conducive unit, but rather as pieces being fit into a flawed machine, the design of which is the brainchild of Danny and Vinny, created in their dark little secretive rooms, sheltered from criticism and reason. The players are not viewed as teamates, but as investments, and the coaches not as leaders but as computers, or control systems.

Who cares what the players want, or the fans for that matter? Dan and Vinny will just continue down this road which, for nearly a decade now, how produced little else other than embarrassment and humiliation. And they will continue to do so privately, because deep down inside they know they are f*ck-ups, or else they wouldn't be so surreptitious about everything they do.

Oh, and before anyone responds with "Poor Dan Snyder, no matter what he does, he can never win," yeah, you're damn right. He can't win. That is why many of us are continually critical of him. He can never win, nor will he ever be humble enough to make the adjustments necessary for him, and the Redskins, to win. Eff him.
