During recent meetings, head coach Frank Beamer said that it would be best for Ore to pursue other opportunities. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports University of Texas S Marcus Griffin worked out at his school's Pro Day Wednesday, March 19. Griffin ran a 4.51 40-yard dash, had a 37 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot, five-inch long jump, a 4.19-second short shuttle and completed 12 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He measured in at 5-foot-10 1/4 and 196 pounds.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports University of Texas DL Frank Okam worked out at his school's Pro Day Wednesday, March 19. Okam ran a 5.27 40-yard dash, had a 27 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 4.66-second short shuttle. He measured in at 6-foot-4 7/8 and 335 pounds.

Updating a previous item, Daniel Mogollon, of NFLDraftBible.com, reports University of Texas DT Frank Okam was impressive at his Pro Day Wednesday, March 19. He checked in at 335 pounds, down from the 347 pounds he weighed at the NFL Scouting Combine. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.1-second range and the 20-yard shuttle in 4.5-second range, both improvements over his previous numbers. He also measured a 27 1/2-inch vertical jump, up from 23 inches at the combine.

Sweed ran a 4.50 40-yard dash, had a 37 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot, eight-inch long jump, a 4.33-second short shuttle and a 7.14-second cone drill. He measured in at 6-foot-4 1/4 and 210 pounds.

He measured in at 6-foot-1 3/8 and 293 pounds.
