Is Showtime original programming better than HBO now?
I just watched season 1 of Dexter, and I'm midway through season 1 of Weeds. Netflix recommended "Huff", which looks interesting, too. On the HBO side, though, there doesn't seem to be that much out there. Entourage (obviously) rocks, but it's getting repetitive. Big Love is pretty smart writing, but I don't know of anything else that is still in production (check out the series listing - much of it has been off the air for a while).
While Showtime's production value isn't as glamorous as HBO's, their writing seems to be much better these days. What do you think?
