We had remote TV. Dad would tell me to change the channel. Kept a pair of vice grips on the antenna outside. When windy I'd have to go outside and
turn to the antenna to get better reception.

Dad and I would watch Skins games and if Skins were doing poor (a lot in
those days), dad would have me change chairs on something to help
change Skins luck. No wonder I'm the way I am now! LOL

wasn't rat patrol about some army guys driving around in the desert on jeeps, with big machine guns on the backs of them? and i went thru the remote era, also. i think that's why my knees are bad. all the up downs, changing channels. remember a show called this week in the nfl? showed high lites of all the games, and if i remember correctly, John Facenda was the narrator. it was on saturday morning
