It's not that people are unwilling to admit that the underachieving is the fault of the men who brought them in or *gasp* the players themselves, but that they'd rather not admit it if they can tidy it up and be all "look we're okay because Stan Hixon was the problem all along."

I don't think that's what I am saying, but I am wondering, based purely on the on-field play, if we could benefit from a different coach. I think it is a fair statement that our WR's have underperformed expectations for the past several years. It may go back before Hixon's time. I don't know. I simply asked if someone with more knowledge of Redskins staff could say what it is that these 3 coaches, who I absolutely respect, think about Hixon's job performance.
Also, in Kelly's interview it is interesting that he says he's learned from the other receivers, but (from the snippet posted here) did not mention Hixon. I don't remember ever hearing people just out and out praise Hixon, or bash him, he just seems to be there on staff.
