If they do a good job with their draft picks this year, don't be surprised if Doughty is cut.

I see Doughty as insurance at safety. Given depth needs, Doughty is a waste of roster space only if someone better emerges.

I guess that the FO will bring in some other competition. If Doughty can hang, then he has improved (although you can't really improve speed like his). If he can't hang, then he's gone again.
