The Steelers OL sucked last season and Big Ben took a lot of hits but he also made a lot of plays when he had to make them, often with defenders all over him.

That's life for an NFL QB. Sometimes, he just needs to make a play, no matter what. I haven't seen much of that from JC. Actually, I think he's a piss-poor performer in the Red Zone. Yes, I know he needs help. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Again, sometimes an NFL QB just needs to make a play.

As much as I want JC to succeed, I'm glad this is his contract year and that he hasn't been extended. It's time for him to make his move if he's going to do it. Jason will either establish himself this season or you can bet the mortgage money that he'll be gone.
