why would we want to stick at the #5 spot to pick up ONE player, even if he is as good as reported, when we could get multiple good if not possibly pro-bowl players to fill the multiple holes we need filled? All that is contingant that the multiple player's aren't flop's, where's the guarentee that extra player's will make us better? sometimes quantatee doesn't mean quality, I would rather have 1 pure gold nugget than a pocket full of pennies, Taylor is as close to a guarentee in a draft that you will find, he also has the ability to make other's on our defense better, he can dictate to an offense on what they run, thus changing the game, I think we could fill need's at any other position in the draft without going for the top guy, but when it comes to saftey there is no one in this draft that can sniff taylor, I would be all for trading down if he wasen't in this draft, but he is, and he's one special player.

maybe this question can help, if you knew that taylor was going to be the next ronnie lott would you draft him at #5? I don't know any one who wouldn't, well this kid has lott like instinct's, with more physical ability, he may not turn out to be as good as lott, but he has the talent to possibly be better!
