Depending on the severity of the tear is really what it boils down to. A good majority of the time, knee cartilage is also torn. I couldn't walk on it right away. A basketball player playing with a ACL? Not good I imagine...lol
The dude is DeJuan Blair. I don't actually follow pro basketball; I found out because I was trying to get more info on Josh Gorges, who played hockey without an ACL for about 7 years with the help of a special brace.
