What worries me about Mccants is that he had just received a new contract when Gibbs was unhappy with his work ethics. Is this just because Gibbs expected more out of him than the previous coaches and he just did not adjust? No matter what caused the lack of work, I think Gibbs has sent the message: work hard or sit. Now if McCants doesn't work hard enough he can only blame himself, Gibbs has made it clear what he expects. And from the sounds of things, McCants is looking to earn his playing time the hard way. It's just another sign of the team-wide attitude adjustment that is taking place under Gibbs.
