Can you tell me his side of the story?

Although things look very fishy, it is way too early to pronounce him guilty. We haven't heard his take yet.

I can tell you that if you have nothing to hide, you don't destroy your surveillance system, cell phone and hire a cleaning crew the next morning. Gun shots were heard outside his house the morning the guy was killed. The rental car in his name was found near the scene of the crime, which was less than a mile away from his home.

Whether Hernandez killed him or not, he had something major to do with this murder, and therefore should be in prison for killing or aiding in the killing of his friend. Simple as that.

So you haven't heard his side of the story yet you are still pronouncing him guilty.

You don't have to be Dick Tracey to know that he's involved, one way or another.

Also I just heard that New England is flat out cutting him.

Good for them.now teammates don't have to publicly "support" him as they would have had to were he still on the team.

Oh c'mon. Your just going off the whole "innocent until proven guilty " line, but you know he had something major to do with this. Your talking like a lawyer.

The fact that New England just released Hernandez tells me even more now that they haven't been getting good news out of this investigation.

What did he do, exactly? You've pronounced him guilty of murder so you certainly know an answer to my question with precision.

I'll tell you what, next time that you are in a situation in which you are surrounded by damning circumstantial evidence, we'll pronounce you guilty without giving you a chance to defend yourself. That's what you are doing to Hernandez.

Of course his actions look fishy. But to pronounce guilt without allowing him a defense is unAmerican.

From what we know there is solid circumstantial evidence, but we also don't know what else the Feds have. He'll have his day in court, which is his right, but it's not looking good. We may never know who pulled the trigger. It will be interesting to see what the other two guys have to say.

If you read back to my original post I said that he either murdered OR aided in the murder.

UnAmerican? Not cooperating with police is unamerican. That is KNOWN with what Hernandez is doing.

The guy was taken into custody, even if cleared after the legal battle that is to follow, he's not going to be on the starting day roster this year, and likely would be suspended some next year (like BR who was never convicted of anything but was suspended for 8 games/served 4). There is no point to waste a roster space on him, and deal with ongoing media questions, if they have the cap room to cut him.

The US public no longer (don't know if it ever really did) operates on the innocent until proven guilty philosophy. It now far more ready to believe guilty first, and conviction later. I like to think that when in the jury room, innocence is presumed, and the burden is still on the prosecution to prove otherwise but not convinced that is always the case.

He's definitely guilty of something related to the murder investigation. The DAs office would not have asked a judge to issue am arrest warrant for such a high profile public figure otherwise. Given the delay between the warrant allegedly being issued and the arrest being executed, coupled with the manner in which e arrest was carried out, means he's guilty if something
