I myself am kind of blown away but it is becoming apparent that we have some trouble evaluating people's character as a team....
Oh Lord, someone whipped out the "C" word.

Come on, Clinton? CP fed on drama, he loved the attention. He also got incredibly f'ing lazy towards the end of his career. If anything RG3 is trying to deflect attention away from himself. I think he DID command a ton of attention; "All in for Day one" and Subway commercials and a whole bunch of bologna.

But I can't believe people are trying to assassinate the kid's character. I think at the worst, he's a good kid who's young, who came into a ton of money and fame and glitz and maybe got a little caught up. But I find it hard to believe he's not out there busting his hump or possibly has some lasting character issue.

I am pretty sure Garçon wanted to come here knowing we were going to draft the kid. He had said he will be better than PM, and believes he is incredible. Last year when Robert was saving the season and energizing the town/team every body loved him.

Now one year later people want him run out of town, he's not a leader and now someone days he is a cancer... Wow back up people. This kid have us a hell of a ride last year. He will do it a lot more after we get through this season... #HttR

The only cancer is the guy standing at the podium today.

Yesterday was the last straw for me. And now today with this talk of sitting RG to protect him? What a fraud Shanny is.

It's taken me a long time to come around too, but more and more with this guy, I just feel lied to.

Agreed, this is definitely not the Shanahan I'd heard about from people that know him that I trust

Do you think he talked to Dan about sitting him like he said in the PC today? You think Dan is ok with this?

With what little I know, I can see getting reps to be primary. But the "24 sacks in 5 games, with a team with 2 sacks in the last 5 games getting 6" line holds no weight? We're in a different situation now that the season's lost, I'd like to shut down vets playing with serious injuries. I'd play him, but wouldn't hesitate to take him out if we couldn't protect him. RG3's still not fully recovered, he's still got the knee brace on, right?

Re: Mike Shanahan was Ready to Leave Washington after 2012 Season

I guess you can tell a lot about someone when things aren't going well. He pooped the bed in Oakland and got fired after arguing with the owner. Went to a stacked Denver team and won with a HOF Qb. Then came here, was given everything, not meddled with, crapped it all up, and now is going to get s-canned after going napalm. The two places he sucked at turned ugly fast.

Concern about him getting hurt might have carried some weight if he sat him down prior to playing on a sloppy/snowy field yesterday.

It's a power play. A dumb game of tug of war and RG is stuck in the middle. Just embarrassing.
