So, what would you opt for? Blow it all and get right back to the cap-top or keep some 5-10 Millions in reserve for opportunities in this season or maybe next year?

Salary Cap Calculator - Over the Cap

Haven't seen this anywhere until now.

Pretty sweet tool to fudge around with the cap and see what kind of shape we're in.

Keep some in reserves, it seems like a few teams get in cap hell every year, where they have to cut half their roster loose because they signed too many guys at high price contracts. I'd rather be consistent every year, then ebb up and down w/ the talent on the roster.

Do NOT blow it all in one offseason. I'm guessing that Alf's initial deal is up after next season. Same with Trent. We need to be smart with the cap to keep our key nucleus guys together for 4-5 years without sacrificing depth.
