You can't get an ILB in the draft who has played in your system for years. Just who would be playing ILB if we didn't re-sign Riley? Answer: We don't have anyone who isn't barely serviceable or constantly injured.

Sure draft an ILB in round 5. I'm all for it. But we also needed to re-sign Riley to anchor that unit.
