Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Round 1

I'm fine with the Redskins picking anyone at 34 since all of the first round talent in the secondary is gone. I would target cb Pierre Desir in the 3rd though.

Since my main guy is gone to a team that made no sense to pick him, I'm more in favor of trading down now more than ever and garner more picks.

Usually out of the 32 picks in the 1st round 16 or maybe 20 will end up really good to just avg. The rest will be bust or just not any good. Happens every yr.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Round 1

Trade Down

All but one of these players will be available:

Carr QB *
Moses T
Bitonio OL
Nix DT
Sua Filo G
Kuandjio T
Tuitt DT
Hagemann DT
Martin C
Van Noy OLB
Amaro TE
Mathews WR
Hyde RB
Ellington WR
Niklas TE

I am not saying the Redskins should consider all of these player, but some teams might trade up to get one.

*I assume Houston will take Carr

Bad pick by Minnesota imo. Traded up to get a avg qb

Late round sleeper at safety- osu Christian Bryant. Got hurt early in 2013.
