Look at Cousins this year, vs Luck's 2013(2nd year starter) stats ..................Cousins.....Luck Games ...........13,.........16 Completion % 69.2,......60.2 Yards / Game 254.2,....238.9 TD %..............4.0,....... 4.0 INT % .............2.4, ......1.6 40_+ yds .........6, ........ 9 Sacks ..............23,....... 32 Rating .............93.2, .... 87.0 stats are from NFL stats page. I'm not saying Kirk definitely is better than Luck, but I have never held Luck on any type of pedestal either. edit: I hate white space formatting in these! |

Luck has played good football, he no doubt has a recklessness to his game (just look at his INTs) and he came into the league with weapons on offense and day 1 on a team completely and totally centered around facilitating his success. I watch a ton of football and there was a period of time when Tannehill and Luck (even by PFF bunch of trolls!) were just about even, PFF actually had Tannehill higher then Luck in their top 10 QBs. (which caused casual fans to meltdown). With that being said Luck was uber productive in 2014 43 total TDs 5,000+ yards of total offense. Net/net Luck and Cousins imo shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. And when it comes to this list I don't see why anyone would exclude any part of a players career. So when it comes to Foles you can't just throw out 2013 anymore then you can discount Griffin's career based on 7 games with Jay. |

Re: Around the nfl week 14
The big problem with comparing all of them against each other is that none of them have been on a team even close to how good Seattle was in 2012/13/14. You could already see a huge dip in Wilson for a lot of this season once the team around him wasn't as dominant. He has come on a little bit as of late, however I still that contract could live to haunt Seattle once they start losing pieces around him.
Let's not forget that Colin Kaepernick went to the superbowl with a dominant running game and defense with an O-coordinator who was really good at masking his deficiencies. |

Re: Around the nfl week 14
Look at Dallas, shutout 1st half against GB. Limited offensively and yet gruden tried to win the game 10-9.
That loss may be really costly. You have to gameplan knowing Dallas can't muster a lot of points. Terrible by gruden just terrible. |

Re: Around the nfl week 14
I don't understand how you think this makes your point (and I do think Gruden needs to want more points). If Cowboys can't score than a a low scoring game plan of ball control does seem to make sense??

Dez Bryant is one overrated WR. 3 drops today.
Rod Marinelli is one hellava d coordinator...doing a great job keeping Dallas in this game. |

Andy Dalton may be done for the season per ESPN. Sucks for them.

Re: Around the nfl week 14
U can't put Brock over kirk. He hasn't even done anything yet? Can't even put him over Tannehill imo.

I tend to agree with all of this except that Wilson is much smarter than Luck. Luck has a major turnover problem. |

Re: Around the nfl week 14
Russ is turning into a big time QB, he used to just manage the game and yes that is a term.. now he is carrying the offense
