No one who wants to retain an ounce of credibility.

Eli has been the beneficiary of two extremely good defenses (that deserved to win mvp's). He currently is the beneficiary of someone who can catch his under-thrown and over-thrown balls with one handed circus catch ability. The only thing Eli has going for him is his crazy luck as far as avoiding the big injury which allows him to rack up yardage and stats. He is certainly not an all pro caliber qb this year nor many others. Did I mention that i cannot stand his corny little expressions?

lol...The better conversation is who is the best receiver in the game ODB or Antonio Brown.

I'd go with Brown based on his overall resume, but soon it may be a different conversation.

I'm not saying Kirk definitely is better than Luck, but I have never held Luck on any type of pedestal either.
Trust me, I've never been in on all the Andrew Luck hype.

Luck has played good football, he no doubt has a recklessness to his game (just look at his INTs) and he came into the league with weapons on offense and day 1 on a team completely and totally centered around facilitating his success.

I watch a ton of football and there was a period of time when Tannehill and Luck (even by PFF bunch of trolls!) were just about even, PFF actually had Tannehill higher then Luck in their top 10 QBs. (which caused casual fans to meltdown). With that being said Luck was uber productive in 2014 43 total TDs 5,000+ yards of total offense.

Net/net Luck and Cousins imo shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. And when it comes to this list I don't see why anyone would exclude any part of a players career. So when it comes to Foles you can't just throw out 2013 anymore then you can discount Griffin's career based on 7 games with Jay.

Tough call there. Imagine ODB in Pittsburgh's offense running the whole route tree getting 180ish targets?
Tough.

But being where they are now, I put Brown ahead of ODB. Brown's special teams tip the scale for me.

Re: Around the nfl week 14

Id lean Brown too, but ODB isn't far behind.

DeAndre Hopkins and Julio Jones a close second tier.

ODB does the spectacular stuff but I wonder if his overall production is lacking to be considered the best WR in the NFL. His catches will make highlight reel film but he is almost like a more flashy version of Victor Cruz who will hit homeruns but often times disappear from the offense otherwise.

Julio Jones leads the league in receptions and yards. As far as td's he has five less than the leader.

ODB has played in 25 games so far in his first 2 seasons in the NFL.

176 receptions

2,625 yards

24 TD

Re: Around the nfl week 14

Speaking WR who aren't tops in the league:

Dez Bryant of Dallas Cowboys won't be shut down for season, Jerry Jones says

"Dez is a passionate player. He's a passionate practice player. But he just hasn't had enough of it to cope with what we need him to be doing right now."

Bryant caught one pass for 9 yards in Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. He dropped two passes and had another pass deflect off his hands for an interception on the Cowboys' first drive of the game.
After the game Bryant said he let the rainy weather affect him, changing his gloves three times during the game.

"Now, that was an aberration, in my mind, in Green Bay," Jones said. "I don't know if it was the slick ball. I don't know that anybody does. But whatever it was, we shouldn't expect to have that kind of result or that kind of performance from Dez or certain other areas of the team."

LOL seriously? wow...this cowboys season is hilarious

Jerry Jones always makes excuses for his draft pick projects and Dez is a classic Jerry Jones draft pick. He saw the flash and athleticism and ignored everything else.

Well I would say anyone who avoids injury for so long in the league has some luck on their side. Its not like Eli has super human strength or blazing quick moves,.....
