Big thing is having no injuries. For me, I don't get much out of pre-season games because they run a bland offense/defense and it's hard to tell if they have their shit together. I guess you can assume if they look bad with the bland offense/defense then chances are they'll look bad with the full blown offense. The one thing you can get out of it is who has the better backups. Backups are pretty critical in this game and can make or break your season being successful.

I highly doubt any 1st stringers will play beyond the first series. I could be wrong on this though. Usually the 1st and the last pre-season games suck the worse to me in terms of finding out if your 1st string is in tune yet.
