Probably one of the reasons he couldn't cut it in Cleveland. He is nothing more than an emergency measure for us, seriously hope we get an upgrade next year.

The market sets the price, the team will have very little in terms of leverage. KC is in the driver's seat and both sides know it.

He's never been a cover guy, but man that TD he got spun around on was just ugly. I still can't figure out what he was trying to do there.

Really losing to a losing team like Carolina and at home. When the spotlight was on them. Really no excuse either way.

Cooley and Kevin were crazy about him still being on the field. They said we don't owe him anything, and they didn't care if he was a great locker room guy, at some point if he can't run, get him out of the field. They got a solid point imo saying if the veteran is doing rookie mistakes, you might as well have a rookie in there (Cravens).

I've been watching Whiffner lately and man, I am not sure what the coaches are seeing. I loved that quote..."if he's going to make rookie mistakes, you might as well have a rookie playing". At least with a rookie, there's some potential upside.

Yes! Forgot about him, while I liked what we saw of him. One more reason not to play Whitner!
