I understand why players have to be greedy, but he already has made 20 million dollars just this year and will be rich his whole life, so sign a reasonable contract and help be part of building the team into a super bowl comtender. Honestly, I don't even think he wants to play here. This is just a guess/speculation on my part.

So what's a reasonable deal? He just made $19m, the tag for next year is $24m, so naturally I think some common ground can be found between those numbers. Anything less just isn't reality.

20 million seems fair to me and I don't think he's worth more than that. That would be top amount I'd personally offer him if i was in charge. The tag amount is based on the top 5 players at his position, and he's not in the top 5, so no way should he get that much. If he gets 22, I'd be upset (for lack of a better word), but I'd live with it, anything more I think it hurts the team more than it helps and he will be drastically over paid.

I just want it resolved one way or another so I can get excited about him or pretend he sucks and we don't need him, depending on how it goes, lol.
