If we win in a convincing manner this week and we are clicking on all cylinders this should not be close. If we can limit no turnovers and take away two we walk away and the stats will come with it. The win was dominant last week, but the 14 points off turnovers put us way up in all categories to include the score.
I feel as good about the Giant game as I felt last week against the 49er's.Giants have a good team but I think we expose their weaknesses. On D we stuff the run, Fluster Manning into some bad decisions and Lavar goes crazy. On O Portis runs for two TD's and when they try to stop the run Brunell, Moss, Patten, Thrash beat them through the air and we win by 14 points.

Well, fortunately, we play against another bottom of the league defense this week!
It really irks me how the national press is just so full of Ellie and his LUCKY win, that they seem to be ignoring that fact that their defense gives up a [boat]load of yards and points.
The Skins will win this Sunday by 10 or more...

The 2 most important games of the season :

(1) Dallas - got us over the cowboys curse (which got us over the nfc east curse) and helped build the confidence to able to win any game no matter how terrible the performance or how many points down.
(2) San Francisco - helped to convince us that we are on another level offensively and also helped to attain a comfort level between the players and the coaches' play calling.

Having said that - in New York - the first few plays and possessions are key to the game and maybe the next big step we take. If we get on a roll (like I know we can offensively), the teams' confidence level will be sky high, and despite "the fly under the radar" theory, I think the redskins confidence this sesason is what is sparking the redskins' success.

I agree with you on the Dallas game. If it was not for those two plays and Dallas would have won. I think it would have realy taken the wind out of this team and we may have never recoverd from.

Re: Rankings Offense 2 Defense 4

hopefully we'll get our turnover ratio up.

Being ranked 2nd and 4th...that sounds like the type of team that would make a super bowl run...

number one I agree with.
number two I hope for. whether or not the San Fran game will bolster the confidence of the team and their confidence in the coaches will be born out over the next two games.

This is just like '82 all over again. We're good, but we still get no respect.
