Re: Looking at the draft.
Looked through this thread, saw the Josh Allen highlight real, hard not get excited. Anyone have reservations though? I'm old enough to remember Heath Schuler...wouldn't want to go through Heath Schuler 2.0.

I was impressed by his effort in the 4th quarter of the bowl game. He had a really high snap count and was gassed but kept giving max effort. I really want a fast twitch front 7 player or stud RB1 in the first round, but Vea would be hard to pass on if he is there.

Re: Looking at the draft.
If I was running the Skins draft. I’d concentrate solely on defense this year and concentrate on offense next year. It’s been proven the last few years that a dominating defense is more important than a good offense.

Re: Looking at the draft.
At least one pick is needed on offense. LG and RB are both big needs to me. But, I agree, take away the huge QB motzo ball, defense needs the most work.

Tell that to the Ravens.

Re: Looking at the draft.
In all fairness they should have made the playoffs if it wasn't for a fluke

Re: Looking at the draft.
Both Mayfield and Allen will be on the same team at the senior bowl and coached by Denver staff.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Change of heart, I'd take this hoss at # 13 (Vita Vea). Must be the song...

Re: Looking at the draft.
I wouldn't get overly excited about anybody before he plays his first game anymore. My alma mater Eastern Michigan beat him in '16 and EMU, although getting better, is still a mediocre team. I like him, don't get me wrong, but any pick is a risk. He is a very good player and is from a pro style offense, which should help. I rather have Allen than Darnold to be honest, and maybe even more than Rosen. The trick is to give the kid some help in the backfield and a real WR to throw to. I am on board the Allen train, but I am not going to go gaga on any pick til I see him play.

But his accuracy is inconsistent. His production is subpar. He's not as efficient as you expect. |

Re: Looking at the draft.
I hope we get another big baller to add to the rotation of Allen, Ioannidis, McGee, and Lanier. I'm so tired of teams running the ball down our throat.

Re: Looking at the draft.
We need an edge rusher and a run stuffer. Of course we also need a TE, RB, WR, S, G, C, CB, alot of ST help/depth, and maybe a QB. Uggh.
