Does adding Dez improve the team?

The answer seems pretty clear to me given that even his production in a down year playing in a decidedly run first offense would still make him the best receiver on the team.
The only real comparisons to me are Doctson and PR- Crowder is more of a slot receiver and Reed is, well, not a WR. So the question "Will adding Dez for a year improve the team" has to be viewed, IMHO, in light of the current non-slot WR's on the team. In light of that, I don't think Dez at this stage brings any upside, whereas, that the Skins are betting both Doctson and PR do.

Unless Dez is willing to come in as a potential 3rd WR with a prove it contract, I think he would cost too much, bring too little to the table and retard Doctson's growth.

So, no, I do not think he will improve the team.

Maybe its just me but your sure seems to have to go through a lot of mental gymnastics to arrive at the conclusion that 69 catches -838 yards-12.1 avg-6 tds in a "down year" in a run 1st offense doesn't help this passing team.

How about this, he isn't the player he once was, he won't match those numbers where ever he goes, and he is a head case. Plus, the guys we have have a better upside and signing him will likely come at price that could cost a good young homegrown player in the near future.

So no, he will not improve the team.
