The Bruce Allen apology line starts here: Alex Smith is, indeed, a winner

Bruce Allen is about as much an idiot as Cerrato was. Smith doesn’t have this team at 6-3. AP and the defense does

Which is pitiful due to the fact that Jay Gruden has been here for five years. Second our defense is not the world beaters that you seem to think they are. Have they improved? Yes, we have. Are we good? Yes, we are. Are we a legitimate top ten defense? No, we are not. I think that defensive line is elite. Our ILB are average. Mason Foster is slow as hell. Our secondary is average. That is why we've gotten killed over the last two weeks in the passing game. Nobody respect us because we're not all that good. The fans are not showing up for the games because deep down they know we suck. Deep you know that everything I'm saying is true.

Wash well. Playing in the waves and body surfing is fun. Going home to find sand trapped down there because of it? Not so much. For some ladies, sand can be super irritating, notes Dr. Millheiser. "Make sure to rinse the vulva really well with water at the end of the day," she says. Just don't wash with a washcloth—sand is abrasive enough. Dr. Millheiser also touches on the bitch factor of not washing the vag and then the constant complaining. “It’s amazing how a simple solution is ignored, where the sand-stuffer would rather just complain loudly to anyone willing to listen.” Dr. Millheiser continues “Seriously, these folks should just grab the nearest garden hose, chose the jet stream setting, and blast away. Water log that sandy clam. Leave no lip or crevices unturned.”

The D must be doing a heck of a job to compensate for the lack of points on offense right? Oh shit that's right, the D is overrated and not even that good, right? What am I thinking.

You are such a hypocrite Chico. Go back - any of you - and read through any game day thread. Watch Chico call our organization, our quarterback, our coach, and basically everyone else total shit. It is all there in black and white. But yeah u ride Mattys coat tails and defend the same team after you trash the shit out of them. Gtfoh.

You have literally been the spokesperson for the fuck smith n gruden crew. Complained countless times about letting mcvay and cousins walk and now u r gonna act like super mcfan boy? Seriously?

Lol

my criticism of the Alex smith decision is well documented. And my frustration is clear, but I’m havent taken the position we aren’t a good team, 6-3 isn’t legit, the defense sucks or I have a sandy vag.

So basically your frustration with the coach, organization, and quarterback, is well documented but it is different from others who complain about them because u have no sand in your vag? Ok. Like i said. Hypocrite.
Nobody said 6-3 isn’t a good record. Nobody said the defense sucks. Some have called it overrated but not sucky. I have said countless times that our offense will ultimately hold us back but apparently i am supposed to be happy as fuck about 6-3 and keep my mouth shut about its ineptitude in the meantime? Dumb.

Ok, here’s a simple question for the Smith supporters. Is he worth a third round draft pick, Fuller, and 5 years $111 Million?

Fuck no he isn’t!!

If anyone thinks colt McCoy couldn’t have Gotten this offense to perform at a much higher level then they’re just straight fooling themselves

AP And the defense are the reasons were six and three. Alex Smith hasn’t done shit to help us with that record

Re: Homecoming / Houston Thread

I’m convinced now that some people miss the days of having a QB that could put up pretty numbers even if it meant losing 28-24 vs winning 16-3.

Smith’s contribution has been lack of turnovers and winning the field position battle. The +11 turnover ratio is one of the main reasons we’re 6-3 along with the D, AP, and special teams.

Lack of offensive errors, excellent special teams and a defense that allows few points is the reason for our W's. Perhaps another QB like McCoy could have competed better in our L's. But I don't anyone could improve on the lack of offense mistakes to claw out 6 wins with an average offense roster.

I still advicate playing Smith until we are 2 scores down until we have a 2 score lead, then put Smith back in. No loss situation

Like it has been said, Smith hasnt turned the ball over and generally we have been leading in time of possession. He's not prolific, but he clearly can lead the offense. It also seems like he and Doctson/Harris are starting to develop a little rhythm. So yes I am fine with what the trade value was. Of course if they had given us Majones I would have been ok with that.

Back to Smith, if he can get even a little more productive it will open the line for AP.

As for the fact we are winning with AP and defense, thats the funniest complaint ever.

Skins fans have been screaming for Gruden to focus on the run and improve the defense against the run. We do it, and have a qb who can win with that plan, and its not enough.

I think in this day and age everyone is so QB focused it’s easy to forget there are other formulas for success that don’t revolve around having a stud QB.

Yeah CR it’s funny how winning with D and the running game is somehow a bad thing.
