Re: Tame the Lions Gameday Thread

That 3rd down throw from Haskins to McLaurin gave me a chub.

Re: Tame the Lions Gameday Thread

The tanking vs not tanking is always a divided argument. These men want to win. I'm on that boat.

Not saying the other side is wrong.

But we need to learn how to win with the players we have now.

If you watched that and are disappointed the rest of the day, I feel sorry for you.

And I mean that.

Seriously...never bummed about a win. I have a smile a mile long.

I thought our pass defense finally showed up and Norman was on the bench!

Settle down. Lol. Nobody is disappointed- win or lose it is a freakin game. But put down the champagne for a second and think about what you are celebrating. We beat a bad team, at home, with their backup quarterback and 31st ranked defense. If Stafford played we lose by 21. Haskins had an absolutely terrible game. He completed a relatively short pass to McLaurin to get into fg range. Yay? Awesome? Superbowl here we come? You can feel bad for the people not sharing your joy, but Chase Young would mean more to this franchise than that sloppy ass victory against a bad team ever will. He is that good , and that win might very well mean he goes elsewhere. Only hope im hanging on to is the fact that we are not winning another game this year and 2-14 might be good enough to get him. Though the Bengals and Fins are both ahead of us now and I don’t see him falling to 3 or either of them winning a game again.

If you aren't disappointed, that message isn't about you.

Im just sort of stunned about the excitement over this win. Lol. When we beat Miami the season was still technically alive and everyone was talking draft pick. But at 1-9 the win is suddenly more important? Ok. Miami will beat Cincy in a few weeks and move us back into 2 anyway so pop those corks I guess. Lol

It really wasn't a step forward. The Redskins needed A+ special teams play from a kick returner, place kicker and punter plus 4 turnovers to beat a team with a poor defense and playing a back up QB. The Redskin offense generated just a little over 200 yards and no touch downs.

Right. Not a poor defense, the worst pass defense in the league. 31 overall in total defense.
On top of that your quarterback goes MIA to celebrate his shit performance and Keenum has to come in to finish the game? That is embarrassing. And honestly i dont wanna hear shit about “now winning is bad” or “go root for other teams”. Lol. Like I said before did the “victory” over the Dolphins lead to better things? Did it teach us how to win? Hell no. We got worse. This is the same shit.

Re: Tame the Lions Gameday Thread

You see how happy Haskins was???

That was the same amazing happiness we got to see last year when Josh Johnson won against Jacksonville.

I love it!!!
