I am sure it's about the guaranteed money in his contract, but I think if the Skins/Rivera talk with TW they could work out the money. At this point, I think TW coming back happy would send a far more important message that things are different then trading him would.

Smart teams in rebuild modes don't give an aging, injury prone player the kind of money TW wants. They trade them for draft picks and use their cap space to sign young, rising, players.
