Going to a lefty kicker with little practice seemed like a recipe for disaster. Especially with the blocked kick return fresh in everyone's mind.

Im just surprised there aint an emergency plan for a backup kicker. I mean if it is Way he should be practicing chip shots every day. That was so weird. I can’t believe how many times I thought ok just need 3 here and than realized oh shit fg isnt an option. I mean Seattle is a really good Redzone defense (strange because they are not good for the other 80 yards at all) and when you take fg off the board it made it really hard to get 7. Our D kept rising up, and it was like wow getting down in fg range aint good enough. Bizarre. Slye man wtf were you doing running full sprint. I appreciate the effort, but wtf was he thinking? Lol

If the blocked kick return hadn't already happened, maybe Ron has a different approach.

That fucking blocked XP almost cost us the game and season. If Slye hits that XP for the majority of the game we have had a two score lead and a healthy kicker.

that was seriously one of the craziest games i have seen in awhile.
