Helped me and my daughter avoid it altogether. My wife had it, and we didn’t. Small house. One bathroom. Sharing utensils (obviously washed but…). If we were not vaccinated there is no doubt we would have caught it.

Yeah, it appears to help. My wife, my son, and I were all fully vaccinated, and my daughter was between doses when my wife caught it. She had some minor symptoms for a couple days, with all of us going about our normal business thinking it was just allergies again. Then she noticed she lost her sense of taste/smell, and decided to take a home test - and sure enough... She isolated after that, but we were all exposed for at least two days and neither me nor my kids ever had any symptoms...I suppose we could have had it, but we didn't get tested.

Ironically it was right at the six-month mark from her 2nd dose, which I think is the time frame they want you to get a booster.

First big covid news of the day, sure there will be more coming

@AdamSchefter
Browns’ QB Baker Mayfield has tested positive for COVID-19, sources tell @FieldYates, @ByKimberleyA and me. Unless he produces two negative tests between Saturday, he’s out vs. Raiders.

Initially i was upset because it seemed like our d-line was the first big outbreak of the season, but this is crazy. Seems like it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

Time to let vaccinated asymptomatic guys play. Otherwise this season is going to turn ugly really quick.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

As others have mentioned DT Matt Ioannidis being added to the Covid list, per source. DL decimated.

NHL and NBA have both had to postpone games. I hope that doesn't happen in NFL. That would be a CF

They made the Broncos trot out a WR at qb last year - ain't no way games are getting postponed.

Re: Coronavirus (sports edition) thread

Behind the scenes the league and the union have to be scrambling. Imagine the playoffs with a bunch of stars sitting due to covid, or how about a SB played with a bunch of backups. They need to do something asap.
