The Loudoun County District Court originally sentenced him to 30 days, plus a suspended license. He appealed.

Pff... so much for the military family real serious guy... stupid AF. I don't know US's numbers but in France 3500 people die every year on the road, a third of whom because of overspeeding (wether they were the culprit or the victim). So no, it's not funny.
