Re: Why Coach Gibbs gets no respect?

I think Gibbs is man enough to only concentrate on what is really important and that is - coaching the Skins to a successful season, getting to the playoffs, his family, his faith and the loyal Skins fans. I doubt he gives a lot of thought to what the sports pundits think of him. He is a very humble man and, unfortunately, it's often the most colorful coaches who get all the media attention.

Gibbs? He just quietly goes about his job and, in the end, he prevails. Like the story of the tortoise and the hare. The hare started off ahead and with a bang, but it was the tortoise, with his persistence, who eventually won the race. So it is with nearly everything that Gibbs is involved in.

He is the glue that has held this team together for the past 2 years. Thank God Danny Boy was smart enough to entice him back. It's the one of the few positive things Snyder has done with this team since he took over as owner.
