I would be excited if we hired any of those guys other than Quinn or Morris.

All of this strikes me as odd though. You'd think whoever the new boss is would be putting that list together.

I'd say this committee Harris has put together is getting as many good names on their list as they can. They do initial interviews with everyone they can, but with focus on the President position. Get them in situ then have them join them for GM interviews then leave the GM and PFO to do the final HC interviews. That's how I'd do it. It's going to be a busy market, especially now the Seattle job is available.

Get your due diligence in as early and smoothly as you can before the playoffs hot up.

I have no doubt the new boss (Head of Football Ops/GM/Whatever) will make the decision as to who his Head Coach will be. But Josh can't let all these names just sit out there without at least showing them that the new Commander's ownership group is interested, and at the same time give his pitch as to why this is going to be the organization to be a part of.

I like it!

To me it's a great approach. Exactly that get the ppl in front of you and vice versa. There's at least one step in the process starting early. I don't mind a long list of candidates at all.... it's all about perception tbh like in any sale... they will either think "shit they really are doing the due diligence and wanna find the best" or ... if we interview only 3 ppl... " damn they really are only going after who's at the top of the list they have"

So I'm Gucci af with this approach either way I think it sends a message. How mofos perceive that message?, don't care. Just know that the message has been sent and the world has been put on notice.
