I realize it's not theologically accurate, but this is my response when people say God saved Trump

if the wages of sin are death, and God let the firefighter supporter of Trump die, clearly supporting Trump is a sin. God lets decievers live, to see who is swayed by their lies. Trump is a great deceiver.

I am not wishing death on anyone, well maybe Putin but that isn't this discussion. And both sides have extremists that wish death on the other. My disgust is with Christians who ignore Trump's lies and somehow think he is God sent or protected. It's like atheletes who give God credit for a touchdown, and millions of dollars, yet this same God allows hundredseof thousands to die in wars or suffer famines in Africa.

I know God exists, but no he didn't move the bullet or Trump's head.

Maybe God didn't protect Trump, but maybe he did. God knows, we don't.

It fucking sucks that Corey Comperatore died. But let's not pretend like only 1 person can die during a shooting. And as believers, let's not speak for God. He doesn't need our help.

It was an unbelievably crazy circumstance that DT turned his head when he did. C R A Z Y!

He was lucky, and that is all there is to it. Divine intervention? Maybe. Dumb luck? Probably. I feel terrible for the families of those injured and killed. Senseless and preventable.

I was just disagreeing with this point of the statement. No one here knows why Trump didn't die in this shooting too. Divine intervention or not.
