She needs the Never Trumpers, center Independents and conservative independents (who like the Nevers oppose Trump) to win and I get the feeling she is going to pick a progressive as her pick (ie Tim Walz). IF she picks a progressive what does she gain? - Nothing but loses the center. If she picks a moderate, what does she gain? - the Center and loses nothing.

In this election the good/bad thing that about living in Maryland is it really doesn't matter and I don't have to vote for Trump, I don't have to vote for Harris - obviously Harris is going to get the Maryland electors. Let the rest of the country hash it out.
