JD5 had a great 2nd half, no doubt. However, I'd give Luvu the Game Ball. INT and knocked Hurts out of the game. That allowed us to stack the box v Barkeley.

Re: IGGLES POSTGAME THREAD

If Lattimore's injury persists, there HAS to be someone out there that can perform better than St. Juste. His lack of coverage and missed tackle on the 4th down was terrible. He did make a tackle late in the last Eagles' drive, but barely. This team is too connected and works too hard to have such a faulty player on the field in key situations. I have agreed with the majority of the new ownership's decisions. Drafting light on the O-line and keeping St. Juste are my biggest gripes. Find someone, give them good value for him, and move on. EVERY SINGLE GAME St. Juste hurts this team.

Also, return to the "Redskins" vice "Commanders". As a Cherokee, I take no offense in a sports team using my heritage to show strength, resilience, and ferocity.

Thank goodness we won. Another week with the Cowboys still being alive in the playoff hunt would suck. Do the Bucs players lift? Twice they've just had the ball taken from them.

That would be unfortunate, especially if it means he'll miss more games. But the trade was never for just this year. Maybe he just needs to sit for the next couple weeks and hopefully be ready for the Playoffs.

I think with the small sample size we have, it is apparent that he can be a difference maker for this team for the next couple years.

Yes but the problem is this has been going on for more than this year. He has missed a ton of games over the last couple years on top of this year. The writing was already on the wall. After 3 years of this you need to ask yourself why next year is going to be different?

It might not be, but I mean he had a lacerated kidney in 2022, a pretty serious ankle injury last year, and now he's dealing with a hammy. Three pretty distinct injuries.

It does look like he had a history of hamstring injuries back in College 9-10 years ago. If the current hamstring issues are related to those in College, it's probably concerning. If not, then maybe he's just been a little unlucky...?

Either way, I think the point is that we didn't sign him as the final missing piece needed for a SB run this year. I think this was more for the next couple years. They must have been A-ok with his medicals or I don't see this new regime signing him at all. That doesn't mean he will remain healthy though... it's a tough sport.

I absolutely agree the move was as much long term as much short term, if not even more so.
A serious ankle injury can lead to hamstring injuries though. I hope to hell he is 100 percent healthy next year.

Actually Keim touched on his injury history on one of his podcast

it seemed like a lot of his injuries he didn't like how the saints handle them, there was something in particular a year ago or so that really soured their relationship; so after that if Latt had a hang nail he won't play

I got think he like playing for Quinn and this franchise most seem too, i just think hammys are tricky

This sucks. Hopefully Lattimore will take a page from Christian Watson and go to University of Wisc to get this resolved in the offseason.

I was trying so hard to imagine what his hamstrings are made out of. I wound up deleting and changing the comment entirely because I could not think of the right word. It was right there waiting for me. Damn you and Shakespearean ways.
