Problems usually have complex reasons for why they are happening (inflation/gas prices/unemployment) but most people don't bother to research as to why they are changing (both good or bad). It's much easier to blame or praise the person in charge at the time.

It really is comical that MAGA does not understand that inflation post COVID was a global problem and not unique to the US. But facts never seemed to matter to this group.
