You're looking across the table at him, and he's got his checkbook open, pen in hand; all the while coach Gibbs and Williams are telling you what a privelege it is to be a Redskin, and maybe Chris Cooley is there telling you hey man these guys aren't jerking your chain. It's a sweet place to be.

It's hard to say no to that. How do you ask a guy to put his checkbook away in that situation? Snyder's great at making guys feel like they need to take the bird in hand.
