"I'm not injured," he said. "They're not holding me back due to an injury. I think they're pacing me out. I get out there and I get pretty excited and I get to running around and different things like that."

Arrington said he continues to be patient with the pace the trainers and coaches have set for him.

"No worries -- it's not a frustrating thing," he said. "I'd love to be out there banging with my teammates. But I'm feeling great, actually. My workouts are going well. My conditioning is staying up. I'm getting my mental reps down."
