Colts were decimated with injuries. I wonder how they plan on getting by with zero running capability.

I've had enough of the Manning hype for one day, I'm going to bed.

Re: Colts/Giants

Colts are going nowhere this year. Where's the D? They'll lose their first game of the playoffs yet again.

Giants should've won today, given how piss poor the Colts run defense was - shot themselves in the foot with penalties. Brandon Jacobs is a monster.

Mr Nichols from the school of hard knocks was a non-factor today, but then again, so was Freeny. Is Freeny playing injured or something? You could've called him Mrs Petitgout tonight.

I noticed and called this last year as well - I can understand players demanding noise from the crowd, but there is somethign pathetic about a head football coach motioning for the crowd to get loud? Could you see Tuna, Gibbs, or Reid, or any other head coach do this?

They had Rhodes and Addai, which were supposed to be their top two backs. I don't think many linemen were injured either, so their running game can't be blamed on injury.

Re: Colts/Giants

Maybe I watched a different game than most of you, but I thought both teams looked pretty good on offense. Indy has no running game, but so what...they still have Harrison, Clark, and Wayne. They put up the scores necessary to win. Tiki looked unstoppable and Eli, other than the one really bad pick and average at best clock management, looked pretty solid. I wouldn't want to face either one of these teams right now, but that's just me.

I lied about going to bed....Mr. Nichols?? What was that bullshit about? Just proves, LaVar is more into himself than he was leading on. I think he had one or two tackles tonight. Good luck with Mr. Nichols Giants fans!

Well if you shut down the Colts passing game, and force them to beat you by running, we might have a good shot at winning the game.

Re: Colts/Giants

OK Giants looked so-so. They showed some flashes and clearly have some play makers. The season is on the D and Manning. Barber, Burress,Shockey will get the job done when needed. Didn't hear LA's name much tonight. I guess he didn't get hurt so there was no reason to talk about him.

As for the Colts. Color me unimpressed. No running game against what is not really a stingy run D and the Colts D looked like sh*t. Let's be honest if their D is like that they'll win 10 games with a 12 win offense. Sad. Manning can't do it all.

Nice try getting Kate Mara to do the national anthem again. Didn't work like a charm this time.

Re: Colts/Giants

Just glad to see an NFC east rival go down. Gints running game looked very good--that's a concern. But if you can presure Eli, he does get rattled. Colts looked mortal, but the season is young yet. Peyton doesn't really need a running game, but they do need a D, and teams won't beat themselves every game.

PS Much as I hate the gints, they got hosed on the offensive PI call. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of putzes though...

HAHA..I agree on the Putzes and that call.
Giants look the same to me as last year. Great run game, but secondary is still vulnerable but improved with Mcquarters and Madison. Not looking forward to playing them in NY. As far as the Colts, I just can't see them getting over that hill. Don't know what it is, they got a great team, but they need to change something or continue to lose in the playoffs.
