Why would Portis being out have an effect on his play? Portis's yards per carry aren't as good as Betts, the only problem there is Portis is a much better blocker picking up the blitz that could be the one area that would be cause for concern.

If that's true...then hes doing it out of desperation. If its a move out of desperation, the season REALLY is over.
