Re: Bill B Presents TMC's Pick the Position Poll

A big ass DT would clog up the line of scrimmage. You remember in 2000 when Tony Siragusa was with the Ravens? He would clog up the line so bad, it freed Ray Lewis up to have an AMAZING season. Our LBs are getting taken out of the equation because we don't have the DTs this year.

Salave'a was very stout against the run in 2004 and 2005. Our LBs like Washington and Marshall were able to flow to the ball. But Salave'a's legs have been hurt this year, and Golston can't clog the line well enough, he weighs less than 300 lbs.

Put a big ass DT on that line, and all of a sudden we'll all be saying "hey, Marcus Washington is good again!"

Marcus is still the same player. He didn't suddenly forget how to play football. Just got to give him help up front.
