Perhaps we could get some inside info..........

And if you have any input on what Skins games they actually choose I would prefer home MNF games. The Skins always seem to play better primetime games when they play at home. When they go on the road for primetime games they dont seem to play as well.

Well, all we can do is make our suggestions based on research, input from guys like Clayton, possible storylines, etc. However, this past year the NFL took our research and requests to create their lineup for the NFL Network games. So when the NFL Network comes out with their schedule just imagine that's probably what should have been on ESPN.

Anyhow, we're in the really early stages of scheduling right now. And I'm not directly involved with it so I can only provide so much input.

I specifically work on negotiating rights to motorsports related programming and more importantly determining where to schedule them on our networks. Now, even though I work on motorsports I work closely with the people who schedule NFL, tennis, baseball, etc. to plot out what we think is the best schedule for ESPN, ESPN2, etc.

Who's grand idea was it to put Brent Musberger on NASCAR? I mean give me a break. You think ole Rusty will do any good?

Well our production team decides the talent, I have nothing to do with that. The idea I think is that people associate with Musburger with major events. And we're treating every race as an event. Probably wouldn't have been my decision but whatever. Rusty will be entertaining.

I associate Musberger with shot gunning beers in the parking lot so he ought to fit NASCAR well I guess.

Oh, I guess that makes some sense. Don't know if you keep up with the race announcers much, but I here Benny Parsons is not doing good at all now. Let's keep him in our thoughts and prayers, he seems like a really good dude.

If you compare week 1 against Minnesota at home and week 2 on the road against Dallas then I would say yes, they played better during the home game.

I know they played Dallas on Sunday night, but I consider those games primetime as well.
