ESPN is reporting that the Jags are interested in acquiring a veteran backup for Garrard and Brunnels name was specifically mentioned.

They did not say WHO or WHAT may or may not be traded for Brunnel, but just that getting Brunell back in Jacksonville would be a very popular move there.

"The Jaguars are also trying to acquire a veteran quarterback to serve as a backup and may turn to former Jacksonville QB Mark Brunell."
