Yeah wtf is wrong with NFL.com, it says Peyton Manning is 3/5 for 17 yards lol.

I'm in the chat now and it says DG and Smootsmack are in there.

Permanent team captains. It's a new thing on the uniforms, the team can choose to put them on their captains or not.

Aaron Stecker a team captain???? How?

Or is it they pick an offensive / defensive / ST...don't know who the 4th would be.

I don't know.
But it's only on the Colts helmets.

No, Brees definitely has it.

I noticed Jason Campbell with it too this preseason.

I haven't noticed his helmet. I just noticed a bunch of Saints...so apparently it's something that is optional.

Re: Saints Colts game chat

I always find it amusing when people think that because a team did outstanding for one year that it will carry over to the next. The only thing NO has going for it this year to do well is the fact that the Falcons and Bucs are fairly weak and the Panthers tend to screw themselves more than anything else. A lot of things went extremely well for the Saints last year and those factors may not carry over to this year. Look for a decent offense from the Saints most weeks and a Jekyll and Hide defense.

NO looks like crap against a mediocre defense. What's up with that?

I don't think you can call them mediocre anymore. Looks like they've picked up where they left off from the playoffs.

I guess. The Colts lost several starters on D and they are facing one of the elite offensive teams from last year and the Saints have 10 points in the 4th quarter. Something is not right and or Tony Dungy is pretty sweet.

Re: Saints Colts game chat

I feel for the guy that had to cover Wayne all night, but a lot of the time he was out of position. Have to agree with some poster from Foxsports.com, the Saints will be lucky to even contend for the playoffs let alone a SB. They looked like they were still in preseason game 1 mode. Addai almost had equal amout of yards of the Bush/Mcallister tandem. Brees really stunk it up with most of his passing yardage off of those dump off screens to Bush/Mcallister.

I'm happy with the result. The guy I was playing in fantasy had the Saints receiver Devery Henderson.
