Anyways gibbs reportedly threw a trashcan (or was it a desk, i dont remember) in the locker room, and was spitting fire at his players...bottom line , we came back and kicked philly's ass heading into the playoffs... the only difference in gibbs now, from what i can tell is that he seems to be one step behind in clock management, and some of the playcalling issues that i hear people complaining about.. Hope this sheds some light..
This actually happened during the last game of the '86 season. Jay Schroeder led a great 4th quarter comeback to win the game at Philly, setting the stage for a nice run to the NFC Championship. The Giants shut us out 17-0, but the next year, the Skins won the Super Bowl.
