It's not likely, but anyone considering that the possibility that maybe Williams doesn't want it? That he's seen life as a head coach and would rather be the 2nd in command? That he's turned down interviews in the past not so much because he wanted to stay a Redskin, but because he prefers the relative nuts and bolts of being the COO of one unit, rather than the CEO of many.
Look, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it if he wants it. All I'm saying is maybe he's not as interested in it as we all would like to believe. Just saying, some people are better suited to be Scottie Pippen than Michael Jordan.
