At the beginning of the game yesterday I wanted the Packers to win. It became very difficult to root for them, however, during the game since they played so poorly. The Giants played harder, played better, looked like the weather affected them less, and all around proved themselves the better team on the field. I don't know how you could watch the game and think that somehow the Packers would give the Patriots a better test than the Giants. Packers looked like they thought they could just roll their helmets onto the field and win the game. In every measurable category the Giants beat the Packers and the game was much closer on the scoreboard than it was on the field. I don't know that the game will be any worse than if the Packers had made it. The way the Packers played yesterday, they would have gotten blown out of the stadium by the Pats.
